Hans Stråberg joins Triboron’s group of prominent investors

The Swedish businessman Hans Stråberg, previously CEO of Electrolux, is the latest member of Triboron International’s group of prominent strategic investors, which also includes Carl-Henrik Svanberg, chairman of the board of BP and AB Volvo.

Mr Stråberg shares his co-investors’ belief that Triboron is a rapid and cost-effective step for achieving a sustainable reduction of global CO2 emissions:

“Science is about braking barriers and I am convinced that Triboron is one of the most important breakthroughs in the quest for solutions that give immediate reductions of greenhouse gas emissions” says Mr Stråberg.

After a short diplomatic posting at the Swedish Embassy in Washington, Hans Stråberg spent his entire professional career at Electrolux. He started with the company in 1983 as a floor-care division manager. In 2001, Mr Stråberg became Electrolux’s chief operating officer, and the following year he was promoted to president and chief executive officer.

Mr Stråberg is chairman of the board of Atlas Copco AB, Roxtec AB, CTEK AB and Orchid Orthopedics. He is a board member of Investor AB, Stora Enso Oy and Mellby Gård AB.

Among the other investors in Triboron are Carl-Henric Svanberg, chairman of the board of BP and AB Volvo, Anders Lönnqvist, owner of Servisen Investment Management AB and founding partner and chairman of Nouvago Capital and Christian Dahl, founder of Polestar AB.
